SIG Roofing has successfully completed its 2025 Roadshows, bringing together teams from across its national network of roofing branches. Spanning four locations: Windsor, Waltham Abbey, Liverpool, and wrapping up in Edinburgh on February 27th, the events provided a valuable opportunity for collaboration, customer focus and future planning.

Each year, the SIG Roofing Roadshow serves as a platform for branch managers and colleagues to share company performance, discuss key strategic priorities, enhance customer focus and strengthen connections across the business.  This year’s sessions focussed on the customer, advancing health and safety initiatives, enhancing employee retention, and exploring the growing opportunities in solar roofing solutions.

Investment within the network was a key theme, including the completion of the re-merchandising programme across many of the 105 roofing branches. Alongside new and additional shelving/racking units, increased stock holding and range, over 50% of sites have also had new external signage fitted with further sites due to be completed in 2025. Over 97% of branches now have TV media screens installed in their trade counter areas, enabling customers to keep up to date with recent promotions and initiatives. The business has embedded an effective Sales Training Academy, with third party accreditation, and seen over 185 employees take part. The academy has been so well received that 2025 will see an Operations Training Academy launched.

A key highlight of the Roadshow was the introduction of #thehomeofroofing, reinforcing SIG Roofing’s commitment to being the trusted partner for roofing professionals nationwide. Attendees also benefited from practical solar installation demonstrations, hands-on supplier exhibitions showcasing the latest innovations, and expert insights from guest speakers, including key suppliers.

Gavin Crane, the CEO of the SIG Roofing charity partner Band of Builders (BoB) also joined the event. He expressed his thanks to SIG Roofing for their support and delivered an inspiring presentation on the work that they do to help tradespeople and their families during tough times. In a show of solidarity, attendees rallied and managed to raise an extra £4000 for the BoB charity across the four events.

Chris Lodge, Managing Director at SIG Roofing, summed up the event’s impact:

“Each roadshow is an invaluable opportunity for leadership teams, branch managers, and sales teams to align on our customer-focused vision, share ideas on how to make it even easier for our customers to trade, and gain hands-on experience with the latest industry innovations. Our customer is at the centre of everything we do, and with another successful roadshow series completed, we are excited to build on insights shared and drive excellence across our branches in 2025 to continually improve our service to them.”
